The Indo-European Plein Air Residency is a unique initiative that brings together renowned artists from Lithuania, Poland, and India in the breathtaking landscapes of Rishikesh, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Through this residency, we aim to foster cross-cultural artistic collaboration, promote cultural diplomacy, and celebrate plein air traditions in one of the world’s most spiritually significant regions.

Objectives & Impact

The Indo-European Plein Air Residency is envisioned as a two-week immersive artistic experience where selected artists will engage in outdoor painting, cultural dialogue, and heritage exploration. The event aims to celebrate the historic plein air traditions of Lithuania and Poland while offering Indian artists a new and dynamic artistic experience outside the conventional studio setting.
